Skyview Middle School Mountain Bike Team

Open to all 6th, 7th and 8th Graders.

We participate in the Arizona Cycling Association, that provides a positive environment where our members can compete and enjoy the sport of Mountain Biking while developing friendships, athletic skills, and team work that will last a lifetime. Riders of all abilities and fitness levels are encouraged to join us as we learn and experience the adventures of Mountain Biking!

April - Registration opens
Mid June - Team Rides Start
September - Races Begin
November - Season Ends

**September 7th** – Fort Tuthill, Flagstaff
**September 22nd** – Pioneer Park, Prescott
**October 5th** – Secret Trails, Snowflake
**October 20th** – McDowell Park, Fountain Hills
*Racing is not required to be on team but strongly encouraged.

How Do I Join?

**2024 Registration Process:**
**Step 1:** Sign up with Skyview and get code for step 2. ($35)
**Step 2:** Register with the Arizona Cycling Association using the CCN Registration system ($125). (Registration help guide)
**Step 3:** Sign up for TeamSnap. Invitation will be sent after Step 2 is completed. (Practice Calendar & Team Communication app)
**Step 4:** Download Strava and find our Skyview Club (if record your rides). www.strava.com/clubs/skyview

How Do I Help?

Parents:

Parental Support is vital to out Mountain Bike Team! Every successful team needs multiple Coaches at each practice, a Team Director, Help Checking Kids in and out of Practice, Race Day Coordination (snacks, food, tent setup etc), Account Manager, Social Media/Photo sharing, etc.
